NEW YORK–(COMMERCIAL THREAD) – Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) assigns preliminary ratings to 52 categories of mortgage transfer certificates from RCKT Mortgage Trust 2021-5 (RCKT 2021-5). The RCKT 2021-5 consists of 1,146 residential mortgage loans with an aggregate principal balance of $ 1,079.3 million as of the November 1, 2021 deadline. The underlying collateral consists entirely of fixed rate mortgages (FRMs). ) of 30 years, all subject to the rules of repayment capacity / qualified mortgage loan (ATR / QM).
KBRA’s scoring approach included a loan-level analysis of the mortgage pool through its RMBS credit model, a review of the results of due diligence of third-party loan files, a cash flow modeling analysis of the payment structure of the transaction, reviews of key parties to the transaction, and an assessment of the legal structure and documentation of the transaction.
